It's hard for you to manage expenses for your
business,
and important to stabilize a monthly cost. Your website can be only a few pages, or it can be many hundreds of pages,
but it's important to know how much you'll need to budget for your web
work.
The rate for
general site programming
and graphics work is $60/hour. There are exceptions like search
engine listings and videography, but most clients'
chief expense with us falls in the
"update my site" category, consisting mostly of site
programming and graphics. We offer a reduced rate if
you sign up for a monthly retainer plan.
Here's how it works:
- You
pick a set amount of hours you think you'll
use on average every month and subscribe to a plan that
will bill you accordingly.
- You
use the time you pay for to ask of us
whatever web work you see fit.
- We keep
you posted on
your time allotment, and let
you know when something
you have asked
for is about to exceed it.

If you need work done over and above your
allotment, we do it at the regular rate.

If you don't use some of the hours, you can
bank them for up to 3 months' worth of time (For example, if you
buy a 10 hour/month retainer, you can bank
up to 30 hours for work in future months).
While you may bank hours from previous months you may not borrow hours
from future months.
- Each retainer plan is a minimum of 90 days' duration.
- Additional discounts are available for 6-month and 1-year
contracts.

Additional Considerations
Here are some more factors you should consider:

Domain name registration.
To own your own
domain name you must register that name so
that all the computers around the Internet will know where to find
your site. Cost of name registration is
minimal - from as little as $15-20 per year - paid by the client.
We will handle the actual name registration at no charge for clients who
want to host their domain with us, though they will be billed for the
registration fee.
